Sales Manager – PCR Tires (Based in KL)

About the Client

Our client is a global tire manufacturer specializing in high-quality passenger car radial (PCR) and commercial tires, serving diverse markets across the automotive industry. With a strong presence in Malaysia and the wider APAC region, they focus on innovation, safety, and performance while supporting both retail and wholesale distribution channels. Key Responsibilities:

• Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies for PCR (Passenger Car Radial) tire sales in Malaysia.
• Analyse tire market trends and identify opportunities to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Lead, motivate, and manage sales teams across wholesale and retail channels.
• Expand customer base by building strong client relationships and understanding customer needs.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor activities and industry developments.
• Develop and implement strategic growth plans and action steps to meet annual financial targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, finance, marketing, product) to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service and relationship management.
• Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular forecasts and reports to management.
• Manage key customer relationships and ensure long-term business growth.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 10-15 years of sales management experience in tire industry of Malaysia.
• Degree in business administration, marketing or a related field to build a strong foundation for sales.
• Work experience with top tier tire brands (manufacturers or distributors).
• Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills in English and Malay. Mandarin will be an added advantage.
