Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

About the Role:

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and lead a team in achieving output, quality, and safety targets. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, efficient manpower utilization, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production activities based on production plans
• Monitor output, manpower, and downtime; prepare related reports
• Allocate manpower effectively to meet production targets
• Lead, coach, and motivate operators and technicians
• Improve production efficiency and minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements
• Support new product introduction (NPI), line setup, and trial runs
• Handle disciplinary matters in line with company policy and labour law
• Maintain 6S and good housekeeping practices
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related)
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Relevant experience in HVAC / air-conditioning manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly is required.
• Knowledge of production processes and line management
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills with all levels of staff (Operators, engineers, and management)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus)
