Senior Java Developer (Mandarin Speaker, Hybrid Working Arrangement)

An established information technology services and solutions provider specializing in software development and IT operations support. Having 30 years of experience serving clients in the following industries: insurance, banking, telecommunications, aviation, construction, and government institutions.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to deployment and support.
• Analyse, develop, test, debug, and implement software applications to meet business requirements.
• Provide post-implementation application support, maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and enhance existing applications to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of project milestones and assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in back-end application development.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), object-oriented programming (OOP), middleware integration, and relational database systems.
• Proficient in Java (J2EE/JEE), Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSF, Struts, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
• Experience delivering end-to-end software development projects is highly advantageous.
