About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the executive leadership team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving the Group’s day-to-day operational performance, executing strategic initiatives, and fostering a high-performance culture. You will work closely with the CEO and Board to ensure all business units achieve their financial and strategic objectives, overseeing a diverse portfolio of operations.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Translate the Group’s strategic vision into actionable operational plans and objectives for all business divisions and subsidiaries.
  • Lead the execution of key business initiatives and large-scale transformation projects.
  • Oversee the integration of new business acquisitions and support expansion strategies.

Performance & Resource Management

  • Establish, monitor, and analyze operational KPIs to ensure productivity, quality, and profitability targets are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, driving cost-control initiatives while maintaining service excellence.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, optimize resource utilization, and reduce operating costs.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Strengthen operational risk management frameworks and internal controls.
  • Champion workplace health, safety, and environmental standards across the Group.

Leadership & People Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop senior management teams, cultivating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive talent development and succession planning initiatives to build a robust leadership pipeline.

Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Foster strong relationships with the CEO, Board of Directors, business leaders, customers, suppliers, and strategic partners.
  • Champion digital transformation and process innovation to enhance operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s Degree is highly advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum 12–15 years of senior management experience, with at least 5 years in an operations leadership role.
  • Industry: Proven experience managing multi-site, diversified, or complex business operations.
  • Skills: Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Attributes: A results-driven leader with the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability.
  • Advantageous: Prior experience in a Public Listed Company (PLC) or a diversified conglomerate.
