Senior Account Executive (Full set account ; Experience in public listed company)

About the company:

Our client is a diversified Malaysian public-listed group with operations in energy, F&B, tourism, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Support Group Financial Controller in managing Group financial matters
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual consolidation and budget
• Assist in quarterly financial results and Bursa Malaysia submissions
• Assist in annual financial statements (MFRS & Companies Act 2016)
• Handle intercompany reconciliation and group adjustments
• Prepare full set of accounts: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
• Prepare bank reconciliations and management reports with variance analysis
• Manage AP & AR according to credit terms
• Handle treasury tasks: fund placement, loan repayment, cash flow planning
• Liaise with banks and external auditors
• Ensure payments follow company policies
• Support process improvements, internal controls, and system enhancements
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and tasks assigned by Management

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or ACCA/CPA equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience
• Must have experience in a public-listed company and be familiar with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Good understanding of financial processes and systems
• Meticulous, patient, able to work under pressure
• Able to analyze and improve financial processes
