About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly communicative individual to join our team as an Background Screening Specialist, supporting our global operations.
This role is responsible for conducting thorough background checks and verifications to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of candidate information. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of compliance and professionalism while handling sensitive data.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct employment reference checks via phone and email
- Perform database searches and screenings for verification purposes
- Verify educational credentials with institutions via phone and email
- Accurately input and manage background screening data
- Compile and prepare clear, concise reports for clients and candidates
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries
- Carry out additional screening-related tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of working experience
- Experience in employment screening or background verification is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred Minimum SPM with Credit in Chinese Language
- Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin (written & spoken)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong sense of professionalism and integrity
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, Smartsheets, and email tools
- Able to handle data processing tasks efficiently
