Business Analyst (Senior & Junior Levels)

We are hiring on behalf of a global leader in enterprise software solutions with over 40 years of industry expertise. Headquartered in the US and with a strong presence across Asia-Pacific, they serve Fortune 500 companies and government agencies worldwide. Specializing in ERP, cloud solutions, and business intelligence, they are currently expanding their regional team in Malaysia to support large-scale implementation projects across Southeast Asia.

About the Role

We are looking for talented Business Analysts at both Senior and Junior levels to join our client’s project delivery team. You will act as the vital link between business goals and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities (Common to All Levels)

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements
• Build reports and dashboards to track key metrics
• Bridge business leaders and technical teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Support end-user training and change management

Junior Business Analyst (0-2 Years Experience)

• Support senior analysts in gathering and documenting requirements
• Assist in creating reports and dashboards
• Help map business processes and workflows
• Learn business operations on the job
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT)

Senior Business Analyst (5+ Years Experience)

• Lead complex analysis projects
• Mentor and guide junior analysts
• Own requirements gathering for major initiatives
• Provide strategic recommendations to leadership
• Drive cross-functional projects
• Lead workshops with client stakeholders

Must-Have Qualifications (For All levels)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Power BI / Tableau)
• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Java and J2EE architecture
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework
• Proficiency in JavaScript
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Understanding of SDLC

For Senior Role (Preferred)

• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or IIBA-AAC certifications are a plus
• Proven track record of leading initiatives
• Experience in enterprise software implementation (ERP, CRM)
• Prior experience working with Java development teams
