About the Role
As the Chief Operating Officer COO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the Group operational strategies. You’ll lead multiple business units, drive performance excellence, and ensure seamless alignment between day-to-day operations and the Group’s long-term strategic goals. This is a key leadership position for a results-driven and visionary professional who thrives in dynamic, growth-oriented environments.
Experience & Expertise
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior operational or leadership role.
- Proven track record in driving business transformation, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Strong background in budget management, business planning, and performance improvement.
Education & Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- A Master’s Degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction across operational business units within the Group.
- Translate corporate strategies into actionable operational plans that drive growth, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Oversee business performance and ensure operational initiatives are effectively implemented to achieve strategic objectives.
- Champion innovation and the use of technology to improve processes, productivity, and profitability.
- Develop and execute sustainable operational strategies, ensuring sound financial management and business continuity.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and implement optimization initiatives across departments.
- Drive profitability by managing budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance in line with Group goals.
- Foster strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to support business objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams to deliver operational excellence and uphold the company’s core values.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
- Serve as a key advisor to the Group Managing Director, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
