About the company:

Responsibilities:
- Manage the animal clinic, R&D lab equipment, and veterinary facilities.
- Ensure the health and well-being of all animals, including penguins, seals, and rainforest species.
- Work with the Curator and team on animal care, habitats, and daily operations.
- Keep all required records for animals, facilities, and veterinary work.
- Monitor air and water quality, and oversee treatment programs.
- Create and update SOPs for feeding, disease checks, treatments, post-mortems, quarantine, and prevention.
- Lead breeding programs for selected species and suggest facility upgrades.
- Carry out research to improve animal housing and support systems.
- Train staff in animal care, veterinary practices, and safe handling.
- Partner with NGOs, government bodies, and universities on research and conservation projects.
- Recommend new ideas to improve animal exhibits and operations.
Requirements:
- Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
- Hands-on veterinary experience, preferably with aquatic and wildlife species.
- Strong interest in research, conservation, and animal welfare education.
- Good teamwork and communication skills to work with colleagues and partners.
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate the team in delivering excellent animal care.
