Job Description

  1. This role focuses on developing and executing integrated marketing projects to drive brand awareness and acquisition. He/ she will be part of the Emerging Markets Commercial team based in Kuala Lumpur. Being a global team, he/she will have opportunities to collaborate with global and local marketing agencies and internal marketing teams across Australia, SEA, China and UK.
  2. Marketing strategy & budgeting – Drive emerging markets acquisitions with the objective of growing the business and lowering the cost per acquisition.
  3. Online marketing – Partner with our central marketing team to enhance our website and optimize SEO/SEM results to target the correct client profile.
  4. Partnership marketing & events – Drive field marketing activities across Emerging Markets, support sales and partnership team to build ecosystem partners, develop and run lead generation campaigns and events
  5. Social/ Influencers – Identify and manage agencies to drive KOL-led campaigns; Ideate and execute new ambassador programs and campaigns to build KOL relationships (e.g. client-based KOLs or external KOLs).
  6. Content- Contribute and build content strategy to drive Emerging Markets localized content (e.g. Customer case studies, client testimonies, blog content, co-partnership content, social media content across owned, earned and paid channels).
  7. CRM – Send out daily market updates emailers; support the Commercial team in reviewing email journeys to optimize conversions down the funnel.

 

Job Requirements

  1. International working experience across either South Asia, Africa or South America.
  2. Knowledge of the cross-border payment landscape for transnational companies with at least 6-8 years of working experience as a payments marketing manager, growth manager or partnership manager in the cross-border business.
  3. Ability to work across organizational boundaries, dealing with ambiguity and setting up internal networks to break down barriers and improve cross functional collaboration.
  4. Ability to handle and manage a fast-paced schedule, high volume of work, produce associated deliverables within short deadlines and work within a complex governance structure.
  5. Ability to independently drive market & client research and drive the end-to-end development of marketing campaigns.
  6. Proficient in data analytical skills with the ability to convert data into business insights and actions.
  7. Demonstrate ownership, commitment, accountability, and responsibility for the assigned business objectives. Self-driven, possesses strong interpersonal skills and keen can-do mindset.
  8. Frequent business travel will be required.
  9. Excellent communicator, both verbal and written English.
