Manager – Risk Management (General Insurance / Professional Indemnity)

About the company:

Our client is a multinational insurance brokerage company located in Kuala Lumpur.

 

Job Purpose:

• Provision of consultancy services with account management and insurance broking for an
allocated portfolio of clients.
• To aid in the overall service provision to clients ensuring that the business is renewed,
retained and developed.
Note: Relevant training will be provided.

 

Job Description – Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Day-to-day servicing of clients’ portfolio in respect of renewal, retention & development of business, including supporting company/client events.
  2. Efficient & timely management of all new and renewal business by due date.
  3. Secure competitive terms/quotes for new & renewal business and ensure that the placement of (re)insurance is in accordance with company strategy.
  4. Maintenance of accurate records, especially policy documentation, in accordance with company process, i.e. electronic filing and where necessary hardcopies.
  5. Contribute ideas and propose articles, guidelines or tools towards risk management.
  6. Assist and support in the delivery of risk management tools including conducting talks for lawyers, doctors and architects.
  7. Preparation of all market and client documentation including RI documentation in accordance with Labuan regulation & company standards.
  8. Process invoice/billing entries in accordance with company standards.
  9. To embrace the spirit of teamwork & support team members.
  10. Manage and resolve all queries in a prompt, accurate & effective manner ensuring guidance is sought where necessary.
  11. Ensure accuracy in all documentation prior to issuance.
  12. Able to maintain high degree of confidentiality.

  1. Assist the team and Manager with the development and implementation of internal process & procedures.
  2. Train and/or assist with training of team members.

 

Qualification and Experience:

  1. Minimum degree holder, in Law, Finance, Insurance or any related discipline.
  2. Experience in risk management, broking, insurance and insurance claims.
