Merchant Business Development & Growth Operations (APAC)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for global merchant business development and growth operations, drive transactions and user penetration through marketing campaigns and daily operation, leveraging our platforms’ marketing capabilities and resource, together with merchant/ecosystem resources.
  • Drive demonstration of merchant, partner, user value through deep understanding of our platforms.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns with both merchants/partners and internal marketing team to come up with the merchant growth solutions, covering the user communication channels, both in eWallet app and external merchant/partner ecosystem channels, and the media plan, and continuously optimize results.
  • Together with the team, develop and manage a good partnership network with merchant in corresponding Geos, create healthy eco-system environment and mechanism to empower merchant to grow in our platform.
  • Support Business Development by understanding the merchant’s pain point and demonstrating the value of the Product integrated marketing solutions.
  • Work closely with the Product team and regional team to increase the exposure for global merchants and improve end-to-end journey for the eWallet users.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on business development and growth operations; well versed in engaging with merchants and partners, including major brands, retailors, acquirers, marketing partners, industry associations, etc.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with internal stakeholders and third party vendors to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent time management, presentation, organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, hands on and able to multi-task across a range of programs in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel in APAC region, South Korea and Singapore (30~50%).
  • Experience in Acquiring business, FinTech is a plus
