Job Description:
1. Strategic Management
- Formulate the development of Mergers and Acquisitions based input (where required) into the Group Strategic Plan spearheaded by the President/Chief Executive
- Executing specific tasks as instructed by CMAO pertaining to the Group’s Strategic Plan or matters pertaining to Mergers and Acquisitions.
- Collaborating with subsidiaries, as instructed by the CMAO on matters pertaining to Mergers and Acquisitions.
2. Organization Management
- Taking the lead on coordinating and leading as directed by the CMAO, the relationship with selected external and internal stakeholders to drive attainment of strategic initiatives through Mergers and Acquisitions.
- Collaborates with the operational functions as instructed by CMAO on Mergers and Acquisitions projects.
3. Stakeholders
- Driving the preparation of all input required to enhance current and potential stakeholder’s awareness for the financial and strategic position of the company.
4. Leadership
- Preparation of the training programs of the Mergers and Acquisitions staff to address the gap on the currents competency level.
- Driving knowledge sharing activities.
5. Administrative Support
- Overseeing the timely and well executed variety of activities (e.g. meetings, appointments, office activities, discussion, calendars, travel and accommodation arrangements, etc.) which are coordinated by the staff assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient uses of resources.
- Prepare a variety of written materials (e.g. memo, letters, e-mails, reports, proposals, resolutions, forms, spreadsheets, calendars, project deadlines, minutes of meeting, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, written reference and conveying information. Monitor and update staff’s monthly timesheet, leave calendar and claims to ensure timely submission.
- Review any inventory of office supplies and file archiving, assigned to designated staff for execution ( such as stationeries) to ensure the availability of the materials when required by the staff.
- Perform any other task as required by the CMAO.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification: Degree in Accounting & Finance from a recognised international university
- Minimum years of experience: 6-8 year in post qualification
- Certification and/or licenses: Chartered Accounting, ACCA,CA Legal studies, CFA
- Special skills: Critical thinking, result orientation and self-determined
