Operation Manager (Based in Kulai)

About the company:

Our client is a Hong Kong–listed company with an overseas subsidiary in Kulai, Johor. The company focuses on prefabricated data center solutions and integrated energy systems covering power generation, grid, load, and storage. It also specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of electrical distribution cabinets, power transmission and distribution equipment, electronic components, and new energy products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the formulation and implementation of annual and quarterly operational plans and budget systems for factory operations, establishing a unified operational framework and standardized processes (SOP).
• Develop and maintain a performance monitoring mechanism to ensure effective execution and achievement of strategic plans and key performance indicators (KPIs) across all operations teams.
• Drive localization and continuous improvement initiatives within factory operations to enhance efficiency and alignment with business goals.
• Oversee compliance and risk management within the operations system, and formulate business continuity plans to ensure stable and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree is preferred; candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and strong relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
• At least 5 years of factory operations experience (primarily in Malaysia) and over 3 years of experience managing multinational or cross-regional teams.
• Strong cross-cultural leadership, strategic thinking, and influencing skills within a matrix organization, with the ability to balance global standards and local execution.
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in an additional language is an advantage.
• Willing to travel when required, with strong resilience and problem-solving skills to navigate complex and dynamic business environments.
