Job Description:
My client is looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role involves maintaining and developing company systems, participating in international financial license applications, and contributing to technical documentation in both English and Chinese. The ideal candidate should have strong PHP development experience, excellent documentation skills, and fluency in both languages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the company’s IT systems and perform simple business development tasks.
- Participate in requirement analysis and system design.
- Write and translate technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Assist in the application process for international financial licenses.
- Support system architecture and deployment documentation, ensuring best practices in system scalability and integration.
- Develop and maintain API documentation, including authentication, endpoints, rate limiting, and webhooks.
- Contribute to system monitoring and troubleshooting, including logs, error codes, and health checks.
- Document user management processes, such as account setup, roles, permissions, and SSO integration.
- Oversee system change management, ensuring version control, release notes, and compatibility tracking.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support third-party integrations, data imports/exports, and ERP connections.
Qualification & Requirements:
- 3 years of PHP development experience, with expertise in Laravel framework, Lay UI, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of VUE.js is a plus.
- Strong MySQL skills, with the ability to write efficient SQL queries.
- Experience with caching technologies such as Redis.
- Proficiency in Linux commands and scripting.
- Strong coding standards and best practices in software development.
- Excellent technical documentation writing skills in both English and Chinese.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or arelated field.
- Fluency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken), with the ability to write, review, and translate IT-related documents.
- Experience in writing technical documentation for international markets, including:
- System Requirements: Client-side and Server-side.
- Architecture and Deployment Overview: SystemArchitecture, Scalability, and Deployment Model.
- API Documentation: Authentication, Endpoints, Rate Limiting, Webhooks, and SDKs.
- Configuration & Customization: Service setup and integrations.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Logs, Diagnostics, Error Handling, Performance Metrics.
- User Management: Account Setup, Roles & Permissions, SSO.
- System Change Management & Version Control: Release Notes, Version Compatibility, Deprecation Policies.
- Support Documentation.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for Junior Developer role.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in financial or fintech systems.
- Understanding of ERP and third-party integration processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
