About the company:
Our client oversees and runs a variety of dining and entertainment venues, including restaurants, lounges, bars, and other refreshment-focused outlets. Beyond its network of establishments, the company is also involved in the production, marketing, and distribution of an extensive selection of food items along with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Responsibilities:
- Develop procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure good quality, reliability, and competitive prices.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to get the best deals.
- Monitor stock levels and plan purchases with relevant departments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Manage supplier relationships and review their performance regularly.
- Analyze procurement data to find cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to support company goals.
- Prepare procurement reports for the Finance Manager and CFO with key updates and suggestions.
- Update the POS system with stock received for accurate inventory records.
- Support SOP development for procurement and supplier management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Experience in inventory control and procurement planning.
- Proficient in ERP and procurement systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, POS systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently without direct staff support.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and liquor industry trends, including sourcing, pricing, and compliance.
- Able to engage and entertain suppliers professionally to build strong relationships.
- Own transport for supplier visits, market research, and logistics coordination.
