Job Description:

1. Cost Reduction:

• develop order policy for APAC & India together with Centralized Contract Center and other related organizations by collecting requirements/demand from R&D / factories and proposals / quotations from suppliers in Asia + India and reviewing global information from others.
• Analyze total delivery costs in detail.
• Negotiate with suppliers or collaborate with responsible negotiation organization for optimal QCD(Quality, Cost, Delivery).

2. Value Engineering:

• Propose alternative supplier which meets QCD requirements or propose alternative material based on benchmark study,
• Review with R&D and factories for joint direction,
• Negotiate with suppliers or collaborate with responsible negotiation organization for optimal QCD

3. Common:

• Learn company’s Centralized Contract scheme and organization.
• Understand company R&D and factory requirements / demand.
• Communication / Customer satisfaction: Listen to factory key players’ voice and/or review data to find opportunities for improvement, set mutual agreeable targets and accomplish them.
• Achieve team’s KPI’s for Cost Down/ VE annual target.
• Prepare various management reports.

Requirements:

1. Strong negotiation skills.
2. Ability to adapt to changes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
3. Good understanding of trading or marketing is an added advantage.
