Senior Process Engineer – Electronics (Mandarin Speaker)

About The Company: 

Our client is a newly established, foreign-invested company in Malaysia, specializing in the research, development, production, and testing of Surge Protective Devices (SPDs) and Transient Voltage Surge Suppression (TVSS) products.

Position: Senior Process Engineer – Electronics (Mandarin Speaker) (Salary up to RM6,500)

Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate with the technical team at the headquarters in China to apply and improve product and production process technologies at the local facility.
• Develop and update necessary documentation to support and streamline production operations.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production challenges to ensure efficient and uninterrupted workflows.
• Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) tailored to local conditions to enhance product quality, increase operational efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Manage and oversee the upkeep of production equipment to ensure consistent performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with the procurement team in China to evaluate and approve local suppliers, ensuring materials adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements: 

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferable.
• At least 5 years of experience in process development within a mid-sized electronics or electrical manufacturing company is preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Malay; Chinese literacy (reading and writing) is a MUST.
• A team player with strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills is preferred.
• Preferred age range: 28–45 years old.
