Senior Test Engineer

About the Client
Our client is a rapidly growing electronics manufacturing company based in Perak, Malaysia, operating as a key regional hub for a well-established international group headquartered in Asia. Since its incorporation in 2018, the company has specialized in PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and a wide range of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, coils, and transformers.


Role Summary:
The role requires an experienced electronics test engineer with over five years in EMS/SMT environments, strong communication and analytical skills, and responsibility for planning, executing, and improving new product test processes, equipment, and yield performance.

Responsibilities:
-Plan and execute FCT tests for new products, including capacity evaluation
-Develop SOPs for NPI releases and verify new test programs
-Design test fixtures and wiring diagrams; set up new test stations
-Monitor test performance and drive yield improvements
-Debug field return boards and perform root cause analysis
-Operate, troubleshoot, and repair production test equipment; maintain and upgrade as needed
-Support engineering program changes and collaborate on NPI testing
-Conduct ICT evaluations and prepare test coverage reports

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
-At least 5 years’ experience in test engineering, preferably in EMS/SMT environments
-Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin
-Skilled in product evaluation, documentation of test procedures, and report preparation
-Ability to establish new product testing procedures with manufacturing plants
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
