About the role:
The Supply Chain Manager oversees end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and seamless material flow to support business objectives.
About the role:
- Manage procurement, inventory, logistics, warehousing, and supplier relationships.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Oversee demand planning, forecasting, and material planning to ensure supply continuity.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to drive process improvements and cost reductions.
- Ensure supplier performance meets company standards, including on-time delivery and quality compliance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OTIF, inventory turnover, and cost savings.
- Lead contract negotiations, supplier agreements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive sustainability initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain an effective Quality Management System (QMS) in supply chain processes.
- Promote continuous improvement through process standardization and automation.
- Ensure adherence to safety, occupational health regulations, and company policies.
- Support cross-functional teams in achieving business and operational goals.
Job Requirements
- Min Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or similar field.
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and an all-rounder logistician.
- Well-verse in custom operations knowledge.
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing supply chain operations and relationships with suppliers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills for working with suppliers, vendors and internal teams.
- Previous experience in local logistics companies would be preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics, warehousing and inventory management best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Solid organizational and project management skills.
- A strategic and analytical mind.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing conditions.
