Regional Supply Chain Manager (Shared Services based in Puchong)

About the Client:

A conglomerate (HQ based in Puchong) with more than 20 subsidiaries around APAC and European regions –  with multiple business sectors including automotive, manufacturing, food & beverage, beauty & health care, IT solutions etc.

Position Overview:

• The Regional Supply Chain Manager will be responsible in establishing the Group’s supply chain strategy.
• This role will look into developing and implementing a cohesive framework that aligns with the organization’s overall goals.
• This role involves assessing current supply chain processes, identifying areas for improvement and integrating best supply chain practices to enhance efficiency and resilience.

Responsibilities:

• Establish the company’s supply chain strategy.
• Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to fix bottlenecks and other issues.
• Implement cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
• Plan demand and supply efficiently for JIT (Just In Time) stock turnover.
• Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals.
• Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites and in the factory.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or similar field.
• Regional Supply Chain working experience across APAC countries.
• Supply chain working experience in FMCG or manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Mandarin literacy – spoken and written.
• Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
• Solid organizational and project management skills.

Salary Range: RM 10,000 – RM 15,000.
