A PEO will typically handle contributions to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), Social Security Organization (SOCSO), Employment Insurance System (EIS), Potongan Cukai Bulanan (PCB) income tax deductions for the company, and Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF), if applicable.

No. You retain control over your employees’ day-to-day work, performance management, and business decisions. The PEO / EOR only handles the administrative HR and takes on all employment-related legal responsibilities such as payroll management, employee benefits, and compliance with Malaysian employment laws.

There are a few key differences between the two. Traditional HR outsourcing typically involves contracting specific HR functions such as payroll to a third party. A PEO/EOR involves we becomes the employer of record for the company and handling the HR operational task.
