Korean Translator (Based in Penang)

About the Company:

A multinational, technology-driven company specializing in industrial automation, system integration, and smart manufacturing solutions within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

About the Role:

Support communication across Korean, English, and Bahasa Malaysia by translating technical documents, SOPs, and business materials, as well as providing interpretation during meetings and discussions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide translation and interpretation between Korean, English, and Bahasa Malaysia for internal communication and meetings
• Translate technical documents, SOPs, emails, and other business materials
• Review, proofread, and refine translations to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Assist project teams with administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Korean Language or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in professional Korean translation
• TOPIK Level 4 or above with strong written and spoken proficiency in Korean
