Sales Engineer

Client introduction
Malaysia‑based company that provides inspection, test, and measuring equipment solutions for the semiconductor, electronics, and manufacturing industries across Asia.

Role summary
The candidate is responsible for driving business growth in southern Malaysia by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering technical solutions that meet customer needs. This role combines sales expertise with technical knowledge, requiring the ability to prospect and generate leads, present and demonstrate products, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new client leads in the southern region of Malaysia through proactive sales activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Demonstrate products to clients, providing technical support and guidance to ensure customer confidence.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations showcasing products and services.
Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Provide regular feedback, market insights, and competitor intelligence to the sales management team.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in sales, business development, or technical sales, ideally within the semiconductor, electronics, or industrial equipment sector.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
Technical aptitude to understand and explain product features and benefits.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently while contributing to team success.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.\
Willingness to travel within the southern region of Malaysia to meet clients and support business growth.
