About the Role:
We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and lead a team in achieving output, quality, and safety targets. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth production flow, efficient manpower utilization, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production activities based on production plans
- Monitor output, manpower, and downtime; prepare related reports
- Allocate manpower effectively to meet production targets
- Lead, coach, and motivate operators and technicians
- Improve production efficiency and minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Support new product introduction (NPI), line setup, and trial runs
- Handle disciplinary matters in line with company policy and labour law
- Maintain 6S and good housekeeping practices
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related)
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in HVAC / air-conditioning / electro-mechanical assembly is an added advantage
- Knowledge of production processes and line management
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills with all levels of staff (Operators, engineers, and management)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus)
