Role Summary:
The Metrologist ensures measurement accuracy and compliance by reviewing testing requirements, creating MSOPs, training staff, and maintaining calibration standards. The role involves jig design, equipment sourcing, MSA/GRR studies, and advanced use of CMM/OMM systems to support product quality and customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review the measurement/ testing requirement and method for new drawing.
• Create MSOP for New Product Introduction and existing products.
• Train Technicians/Inspectors on the use of the measurement/testing equipment and established MSOP.
• Maintain and calibrate the measurement/test equipment as per ISO 17025 requirements
• Design and fabricate jig for measurement / test purpose.
• Source, review and recommend new measurement / test equipment.
• Perform MSA – GRR and correlation (Internal and external with customer)
• FA measurement.
• Experience using CMM / OMM equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Mechanical / Material / QA Engineering or with relevant industry experiences.
• Knowledge & experience in GD&T as per ASME Y14.5.
• Practical knowledge of OMM and CMM. Able to do programming.
• Min 2 years working experiences in similar capacity.
