Key Account Manager / Regional Sales Manager (Semiconductor)

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager / Regional Sales Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, managing strategic key accounts, and expanding our market presence within the semiconductor backend and electronic component sectors. You will act as the bridge between our clients and internal technical/operations teams, ensuring the delivery of tailored, high-impact solutions. Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Drive new business growth by identifying emerging market opportunities and monitoring competitive activities.
  • Lead price-cost management, negotiate pricing and service agreements, and review commercial terms to maximize profitability.
  • Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate closely with technical and operations teams to design and deliver effective, customized solutions for clients.
  • Travel frequently to client sites locally and overseas to strengthen partnerships and close business deals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong background in technical sales and key account management, preferably within the backend semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with plastic forming products used in backend semiconductor packaging is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in additional languages or dialects is a plus.
  • Possess own transport with a valid driving license and willingness to travel outstation and internationally as required.
  • Highly independent, self-motivated, and able to perform well under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
