Job Summary
General Manager – Corporate Finance & Investor Relations need to lead investor relations, strengthen capital market positioning, and drive key corporate finance and fundraising initiatives for a public listed property group based in Kuala Lumpur.
The role requires a proven leader with strong expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, investor engagement, and Bursa Malaysia compliance, capable of articulating the Group’s strategy and financial performance to institutional investors, analysts, and stakeholders.

Job Description
Develop and execute the Group’s investor relations strategy to enhance company profile, investment appeal, and valuation among institutional investors, fund managers, analysts, and the broader investment community.
Lead and manage relationships with equity analysts, research houses, institutional investors, fund managers, and other key capital market stakeholders, with the objective of expanding research coverage and strengthening the Group’s visibility and market positioning.
Effectively articulate and communicate the Group’s business strategy, financial performance, growth prospects, corporate developments, and investment proposition to the investment community in a clear, consistent, and timely manner.
Provide strategic advice to Management on investor sentiment, market perceptions, valuation trends, shareholder expectations, and relevant capital market developments, including recommendations to enhance the Group’s market positioning.
Lead and coordinate the planning and execution of corporate exercises and capital market transactions, including Rights Issues, Bonus Issues, bond or sukuk fundraising, equity fundraising, and other corporate finance initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution.
Manage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including financial advisers, investment banks, legal advisers, auditors, regulators, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, and other relevant parties, to ensure the smooth execution, submission, approval, and completion of corporate finance exercises and transactions.
Ensure the Group’s compliance with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and all applicable rules, regulations, guidelines, and requirements of relevant regulatory authorities in relation to investor relations, corporate exercises, corporate finance, and capital market activities.
Proactively monitor market developments, industry trends, competitor performance, analyst views, investor sentiment, and peer valuations to identify opportunities and risks that may affect the Group’s share price, reputation, and access to capital.

Requirement
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related discipline; professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is an advantage.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, investor relations, capital markets or related fields, with at least 5 years in a managerial/senior leadership role.
Strong knowledge and proven experience in investor relations, corporate finance, fundraising, capital market transactions, and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
Excellent financial analysis, valuation, strategic thinking, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior management, Board members, investors, analysts and regulators.
Strong leadership, commercial acumen and integrity, with relevant experience in a listed company or property/construction industry being an added advantage.
