Company Overview

Our client is an investment holding company which specializes in the construction and real estate industry. They are listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

 Job Description

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and oversee overall Group consolidated financial statements and statutory financial reports in compliance with the Group’s accounting policies and procedures, applicable approved accounting standards, Bursa requirements and statutory requirements.
• Manage tax computation, tax planning and tax compliance.
• Liaise with the Board of Directors, bankers, auditors (internal and external), tax agents, company secretary and local authorities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy or professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Must be registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
• 5 years of working experience, preferably in listed companies and group of companies in the property and construction industries.
• Possess knowledge and experience in accounting standards, income tax and SST legislation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, planning and organising, problem-solving and analytical skills.
