Plant Manager

About the Company:
MNC based in Penang Island

Role Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Plant Manager provides overall leadership and operational oversight for the Penang and Taiwan factories . The role focuses on efficiency, on‑time delivery, cost optimization, and operational excellence, while coaching and developing high‑performing teams.

Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage production operations, supply chain, logistics, and technology development across two factories.
Drive continuous improvement using ITW Toolbox and Lean Manufacturing methods.
Oversee manufacturing efficiency, cost structure, lead times, and asset utilization.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, quality management systems, and customer requirements.
Develop and mentor operations staff, fostering a safe, productive, and collaborative culture.
Monitor and report on budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and capital expenditures.
Partner with cross‑functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Facilities, HR, Finance, Sales).

Job requirements
10+ years in production/plant management, with 5+ years at senior level.
Proven leadership in manufacturing operations, supply chain, and logistics.
Strong background in continuous improvement, Lean, and operational excellence.
Experience in precision instrumentation or semiconductor support industries preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English and Malay.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Prior experience in a multinational manufacturing environment is advantageous.
