About Our Client:
Our client is a Main Board Public-listed Company on Bursa Malaysia in the Utilities sector, operates across three core segments: Energy, Food & Beverage, and Tourism. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead their Solar Power Station projects across Malaysia.
Job Summary:
As a Project Manager for Solar Power Station, you will play a vital role in delivering innovative solar power projects. Working on a contract basis in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of solar energy solutions, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing detailed project plans to meet client requirements and company objectives.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial site assessment to system commissioning.
- Identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing contingency plans as needed.
- Collaborating with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Monitoring project progress and performance, and providing regular updates to the management team.
- Ensuring projects adhere to all relevant safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the renewable energy or construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering solar power or other energy infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of solar PV system design, installation, and commissioning processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Relevant engineering or technical degree, or equivalent qualifications.
