Senior Accounting Manager (Fintech)

Responsibilities

Financial Closing & Local Reporting

• Lead end-to-end monthly/annual closing processes (3-day closing cycle)
• Prepare standalone financial statements or Management Accounts for local entities
• Manage annual audits (coordinate with local auditors)

Intercompany Accounting

• Reconcile transactions across 100+ subsidiaries
• Maintain intercompany ledgers and aging report and settle in time
• Set up end-to end mechanism to monitor the intercompany reconciliation process internal control is in place

Payroll & Customer Fund/Treasure Funds/Tax Accounting

• Oversee Payroll &Customer Fund/Treasure Funds/Tax accounting to make sure accuracy
• Manage monthly reconciliation and solve discrepancies
• Set up end-to end mechanism to monitor the intercompany reconciliation process internal control is in place

Requirements

• ACCA/CPA certification with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in financial operations, including at least 3 years in audit and 4 years in corporate financial management. Experience in FinTech or multinational corporate headquarters is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build end-to-end financial control systems, such as automated reconciliation workflows. Experience in implementing SOX controls in multinational environments is preferred
• Experience in handling cross-boarder management report filings in different jurisdiction and central bank reporting requirements
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin.
• Demonstrated success in managing cross functional collaborations across different departments (e.g., finance, IT, legal, business) while leading a team. Core competencies includes conflict resolution in matrix organizations.
